Why is Michal giving away HD calendar wallpaper for free - is he crazy? The Calendars...

I know that sometimes the grid of a calendar can feel like the bars of a prison - like we are the inmates of time and each passing hour dims the light in our hearts a little more. I think it's an important matter. I make this calendar wallpaper to encourage people to think twice about how we operate as a society and whether or not our current calender is helping us or just keeping us down.Pointer

The art of the calendar is a neglected art form. I'm not talking about the design of a physical calendar that you can look at. I'm talking about the way we organize our days.

Consider the fact that Julius Caesar gave the year an average of exactly 365.25 days, by creating an extra day every four years. However, the tropical year is slightly shorter than that. The length of the mean tropical year for our times is 365.24237 days as determined by observations of the March equinox. Thus over time, the Julian calendar started falling out of synchronization with the seasons. Pope Gregory tried to fix the problem by allowing only 97 leap years every 400 years, for an average of 365.2425 days a year.

I use a calendar that goes a step further. I shorten the calendar year to within 3 seconds of the mean tropical year, for an average of 365.2424 days a year, which allows the vernal equinox to occur every year within the same 24 hour period. I do this by observing the same quadrennial leap year as the Julian Calendar, but only 8 times every 33 years. Instead of counting the centuries since the supposed birth of Christ the King, I count each passing generation of men and collect them in eras consisting of thirty generations each. I think this method puts history on a more human scale.

You may not be prepared to adopt a different calendar as long as everybody around you is still using the one Pope Gregory reformed back in the 16th century. That's okay.

I'm offering you free calendar wallpaper so you can think about how important the calendar is as an art-form, not just as a way of counting the days but as a way of organizing our culture and giving our society a direction.

If you think society is heading in the wrong direction and needs a little help, you can try to celebrate Love Your Neighbor Day as I have done - by placing it between Saturday and Sunday - and seeing how you feel. You might feel power and freedom from having broken the cycle of Monday to Friday, Saturday, Sunday. I did. It empowered me and gave me a sense of peace that continues to fuel me to this day. Maybe it can fuel you too.

Strength and dignity are her clothing...

Proverbs 31:25

Author's Note: I have been enjoined from sharing the details of my true romance adventure until such time that the other party is prepared to present her perspective on the affair arrangement...Pointer

My plane touched down in Poland on June 20th. A month later I was in Austria. Two days later, Slovenia. The next day, Croatia. A week later, Italy. The next day, Switzerland. The next day, France. The next day, Germany. The next day, Belgium. The next day, Holland. All with a woman I had met my first weekend on the Continent.

I had come to Europe to experience European naturism, a movement whose philosophy matched my aesthetic of body acceptance and whose organizational structure and leadership I had thought almost exclusively restricted to the western half of the continent. I was shocked to learn that naturism had an official home in Poland, a country not especially known for its liberal culture. I was less shocked to discover that the home was owned by a Dutchman, but even more shocked to learn that it had been largely built by Margo.

As an American, I was full of optimism and confidence bordering on recklessness. I was ready to run the wheels off the car I had just bought and eventually I would. As a European, she was cautious and mistrustful. She needed to make sure the air conditioner worked. Which it did. If you knew how to turn the broken knob in just the right way.

I've never been married. I've never been divorced. I've never had kids. I've never lost my kids. That doesn't mean I can't try to understand somebody who has. By listening to Margo during our trip across Europe I started to consider her needs as if they were my own. I may not have been in a position to satisfy all of those needs, but I was able to shut up and put my own needs aside if I had to for at least 6,000 miles. We all need to be listened to and it is the one need that we all have a duty to satisfy. When somebody prays to another human, as a human you have a duty to listen. Humanity needs to start teaching itself that skill.

THE DISAPPEARING WOMAN, THE DISAPPEARING MAN...Pointer

a collection of modern art prints and posters

During our trip across Europe, Margo very bravely opened up to me and to the camera. It was a difficult thing to do considering the scars that she carries. I wanted to share with the world her often joyful, often sad, often angry but always liberating experience except that the Internet is full of pictures of naked women and men and full of trolls who abuse them.

I realized that what I really need to point out is not the openness that Margo and I cultivated between ourselves, but the darkness that continues to surround us. When I censor nudity, I do so in a way that does not compromise the integrity of the human body. In censoring the photographs that Margo and I took during our trip, I was quick to notice that in those pictures where Margo was at her most open, at her most unguarded and most relaxed, in a word, when she was herself and basking in the sun I was forced to blacken her completely.

Why does our society drive people into darkness? Why can we not accept ourselves as we are? Why can we not accept our bodies? Have we truly become eunuchs? Or are we capable of defying the sickness that pits us against each other? Together we could conquer the devils that abuse us.

Whether you enjoy being nude or not, whether you've been photographed nude or not, but especially if, for you, like for Margo, it's something you never thought you would do, consider submitting your own photograph to be published in a censored manner as a form of protest against the ubiquitous presence of the human body on the internet, naked or not, that is published and duplicated ad infinitum without context and without regard for the identity or the needs of the individual being depicted.

Michal's Dictionary:
Bare Breasts

Some people need a reason to be looking at a bare bottom. They might be trying to arouse themselves sexually or they might be preparing to administer corporal punishment.

As a nudist, I prefer being naked over being clothed as a general rule. That means I don't need a reason to be naked. I need a reason to be clothed.

As a naturist, I don't need a reason to be looking at a bare bottom. I'm comfortable being surrounded by bare bottoms as a general rule.

I don't fetishize bare bottoms. I think they're useful artifacts. Without bottoms our legs wouldn't work. They attach our legs to the rest of our body and covering them up with fabric doesn't improve that function.

Samples of Fiction from The Gospel of Jesus H.

A picture of the planet Mars

An experimental science fiction Christology that makes Jesus the hard boiled narrator of his own early years on a bizarro earth made dark by volcanic ash and informally ruled by a man from Mars who sells bottled air.

That night, Jesus and Zoe almost made love. Getting into bed, Jesus kissed her on the mouth. Zoe went wild. Rolling around, they kissed, pushed, pulled, hugged and squeezed. Zoe removed Jesus's clothes. She saw the tattooed Christogram upon his chest. She was sitting astride Jesus's waist. Pulling up her shirt, Jesus brought her back to attention. She removed it: she removed her shirt! and her bra and pulled Jesus up against her chest. Squeezing tightly, Jesus smelled the beautiful strength upon her breasts and kissed them. He pushed her down to the side of the bed and she spread her legs. Jesus mounted her and he was ready to do it, but there was too much: too much whirling around in his head: too much at stake: his destiny, his word, Zeus on Mars, and this half-Martian, half-Japanese creature in his bed, waiting to be fucked! Something was wrong. Jesus wanted her. He wanted to love this woman but not now: not here: not like this. This would have to wait. Jesus was quickly losing steam. The thought that Zoe must have prepared for this - must be taking contraceptives (there was no way she was looking to conceive) - was the occasion that finally prompted Jesus to cease rubbing himself up and down your mother's wet and fully engorged vulva.

Verse 781 from the chapter called Security

"You know what? I was almost fourteen years old by the time I got my first bra - by the time I even knew what a bra was: how pathetic! - and it wasn't because I didn't need one before that. I was going around clutching my breasts in pain. I was thirteen years old: I didn't know what a bra was, and my breasts hurt. One of my father's friends finally said, 'Zoe, why are you holding your breasts like that? Don't you have a bra?' No: my mother is a drunk and a failed mother.

Verse 1005 from the chapter called Bohemia

A drawing of a man between a woman's legs in front of another man in a hospital bed

A literature book narrated by a pair of siblings on either side of the Atlantic whose profoundly weird sexual experiences pose a serious challenge to their traditional understanding of mathematicians, marriage, gay young men and God.

Meanwhile, the bitch, who had jumped onto the litter to play with her madam's breasts, now jumped off and approached him. She was very excited. She would skip around on her toes. Sometimes, she would stand in place and jump up and down. Then, she would take a moment to glare at Nike, then suddenly bare her teeth. She would hiss very loudly.

And she talked: she was the only one who talked.

– Title 3, Regarding a Dream, Chapter 5, The Fifth Day, Part 2, Science & Reform Schools, Section 16, Determining Shock Value, Paragraphs 2-3

INDIE: You really want to see my breasts, don't you?

NIKE: The night is young. And so am I.

– Title 2, Regarding the Romaniac, Part 1, Section 28, Sharing a Post-Coital Smoke, Paragraphs 38-39

Further down the aisle there was an elderly woman. Standing nearby was a very athletic young man. I imagined her sucking his cock. I looked away; but now the Asian girl was being buttfucked by the man standing next to her. She was fondling the white woman's breasts. She was kissing and sucking them. The white woman was moaning almost uncontrollably; she was masturbating. She was very wet.

– Title 3, Regarding a Dream, Chapter 6, The Sixth Day, Part 1, Children & Education Reform, Section 8, Allowing For One's Imagination, Paragraph 7

INDIE: All right: fair enough. So are you French yet?

NIKE: Well it depends: are we in business?

INDIE: Well it depends: are you circumcised?

NIKE: I'll show you mine if you show me yours.

INDIE: What must I show you?

NIKE: Your breasts.

INDIE: All right: but only one of them.

NIKE: Which one?

– Title 2, Regarding the Romaniac, Part 1, Section 25, Second Base, Paragraphs 10-17

The black veil atop her head. The under-veil of white. The linen wimple. The stiff crown. The creature holding her arms back, baring her breasts. Alarmed? Preparing to run? Stay. Show that black and pleated guimpe, falling proudly across your shoulders: broad, stiff, clear-finished: a powerful serge from the fibers of a noble sheep. The chevron weave pointed down.

Where was the tunic? The woman's breasts peeked out from either side of her scapular. Black, lustrous satin. If it had squeezed itself between her cleavage, I would have plucked it out.

– Title 3, Regarding a Dream, Chapter 2, The Second Day, Part 1, Labor & Economic Reform, Section 22, Encountering Poverty, Paragraphs 52-53

Bullets whizzing by a statue of Nikola Tesla

A collection of stories featuring a sexy Parisian ghost, a spooky Moon base full of vagina-faced aliens, a policeman with an Irish name, a truck full of watermelons, a flautist, and a man who has to see another man about a diseased horse.

"What's your name?" he asked.

"Fu,"

Tae nodded. He stripped off his clothes. He got into the water. It was hot, but pleasant. "What's the matter?" he asked. "Do you only like to watch?"

– from “How Tae & Bo Took Over the World and Kung & Fu Didn't,” an apocryphal bible story featuring a frank discussion of women's breasts

"Is that the one with the square shoulders or the enormous breasts?" asked Tae.

"The breasts. The other one is named Fu. She ran a pornography studio. I think the models she was using were trafficked."

– from “How Tae & Bo Took Over the World and Kung & Fu Didn't,” an apocryphal bible story featuring a bunch of people fending for themselves

Patsy, on the other hand, was drawn by a different feast: the confident stride of youth, emerging from the sea, hands pushing back wet strands, an elbow pointing up, pulling with it a tortuous line of shade across flesh, a motion of such immense gracefulness that, once reaching its climax, it just as soon hid the soft, pale underbelly of the arm that led down to a freshly matted pit of delicately trimmed hair, still peaking from beneath those drawn shoulders, pointing to a pair of bubbly breasts, which, ever so mournfully, turned away, presenting the elegant boxwood bouts of the back, dimpled above the ass, bending now at those generous hips before pushing off with the springiness of freshly leavened dough, and disappearing like satin gauze upon the waves. Now that, thought Patsy, was a girl in desperate need of police investigation.

– from “A Cop Named Patsy,” a funny story featuring a cop who goes to Japan

Her breasts were bared. She wasn't wearing a tunic. Only the flimsy fabric of a friar's scapular covered the length of her body beneath her cloak. With her arms stretched back, two nodules of beautiful fat bulged from beyond her hems, settling under their own weight like egg white beaten to a soft peak, waiting to be folded into batter. The satin of her scapular suddenly sashayed across her nipples. It fell against the side of one breast. It squeezed itself into her cleavage. Pluck, I begged quietly to myself, the obnoxious apron out.

– from “Paris Is For Rapists, Too,” a ghost story featuring a frank discussion of a cloak

Bei held Jing's hand as she slid her into the water. They splashed and giggled. At one point, Bei gripped her lover's bottom. Jing stood on her tip-toes. She rested her arms on those experienced shoulders. She gazed into those wrinkly eyes. Tae clutched his head. He thought, "How did this happen?"

MS. JACKSON: You must be falling asleep after such a long day.

FLETCHER: Mother.

LESBIAN: I can barely keep my eyes open.

FLETCHER: Excuse me.

MS. JACKSON: That's a problem.

LESBIAN: Why?

MS. JACKSON: The laundry's not done. I'll have to take fresh sheets from the sofa bed.

LESBIAN: Don't bother. I'll sleep in here for now.

MS. JACKSON: Are you sure?

LESBIAN: It'll only be for a nap.

– ACT II, lines 262-271

GREY GOOSE: No. You're a good kid. I know that. I only wish I could've been a better father.

FLETCHER: You were good enough.

GREY GOOSE: I wasn't.

FLETCHER: You only hit me - what? Once? I deserved it.

GREY GOOSE: I made it count.

FLETCHER: I barely felt it.

GREY GOOSE: Come on.

FLETCHER: It's better than what you had. I'm grateful.

GREY GOOSE: I'm going to miss this place.

FLETCHER: You're not out yet.

ALICE: Some honeymoon: Luke spends more time with your husband than he does with me.

MS. JACKSON: He can have him. I do feel sorry for you, Alice.

ALICE: I don't mind. He makes up for it with other, more important qualities of manliness.

LESBIAN: Is he large?

ALICE: Yes.

MS. JACKSON: How large?

ALICE: Massive. I can barely take it.

LESBIAN: I don't know if I would like that.

GREY GOOSE: There's more. I need your help.

KOKOMO: Again?

GREY GOOSE: Yes.

KOKOMO: I'm not your little plaything.

GREY GOOSE: Do you want to be thrown out? I didn't think so. Come with me to the kitchen. I need those tender little hands.

KOKOMO: This is the last time, Grey Goose. You've made me sore from all your stupid amusements. I can barely even walk or lift a finger. I'm totally spent.

GREY GOOSE: Don't pretend you don't like it.

Samples of Fiction from Miscellaneous Dingbats

The title of the book at the end of a string of miscellaneous dingbats

A story book full of short fiction stories. An interesting bedtime mystery. A fairy tale. Science fiction romance. Adult life. Uninspiring gay fiction. Horror.

I killed a cat. It was an accident. I was trying to cut its fur. I wanted to show Kelly the ugliness of a shaved pussy. I don't deserve two years of prison for it. Cruelty to animals is nothing next to how humans treat each other. They put me in the same prison I used to guard. At the very least I know which of these bitches aren't shaved. Those are the ones I can fuck. Even when I was a kid I couldn't stand a bare floor. All the blood stains and grime and guts on the linoleum in the kitchen. It was disgusting. It always curled up at the edges. Like Kelly's toes. As soon as I get out of here I'll find that girl. I'll get her the biggest razor I can find.

– from “Two Years,” an adult fiction story about a lady at a women's prison

Steve, Peter and I wandered around for a while. We spotted Mary walking down the sidewalk. We didn't stop to say hello. We went to a bar. There was barely anyone there. A guy on the patio was seated with his dog. Steve was a dog owner. It gave him a reason to chat. I focused on the bar girl but not to my benefit.

– from “Woodstock,” a life story based on what really happened, namely to the author

She wrapped her arms around my shoulders. Our foreheads touched. I put my hands on her bare knees. I rubbed her thighs. With each stroke, I circled wider. I went a little slower. I ventured deeper up her leg. I wondered when she would stop me. She didn't. My fingers brushed the edge of her panties. I drew back. I left my hands around her knees.

Indiana lifted her head. I looked up. She was staring into my eyes. She pecked me quickly on the lips. I had no time to pucker. "I'm sorry," she whispered. "I've ruined your party."

– from “St. Andrew's Eve,” a story of love that might calm one's nerves depending on your outlook

My thoughts raced. What was going on? I imagined leaning over and kissing her. I shook my head. Why would I think that? I considered putting my hand on her knee. What for? Nonsense. I remembered how I grasped her bare buttocks. My God. What had I done?

– from “St. Andrew's Eve,” a story of love that may ease one's sense of distaste depending on your outlook

Proctor backed out of the bathroom. He looked at the window. There was a fire escape outside. It went up to the loft. Proctor went to look outside. He realized the window was unlocked. He locked it. He shut the curtain. He walked to the front door. He looked outside. The hallway was empty. Proctor tiptoed out. He tried to shut the door as quietly as he could. It wouldn't shut all the way. The frame was broken. Proctor left it. He started soft-shoeing his way down the hall. He could barely swallow his spit. There was a rock in his throat. The stairs seemed like they were getting farther and farther. He finally reached them. The stairwell was empty. He walked down the stairs. The lobby was empty. Proctor took a deep breath. He went outside. He waved to the policeman in the patrol car. He got to his own car. He drove off.

– from “We Need To Talk,” a mystery story featuring a former flame put in a weird position

Love is the answer...

What are we waiting for? Let's accept it!

Are you a eunuch?

The art show that defies abuse

St. Sebastian

Wall art symbolizing strength and protest

St. Sebastian was a member of the Roman Emperor's praetorian guard who had the audacity to teach Christian values while on the job. I think active duty American military men and women who don't vote or who don't publicly express a political opinion because of the uniform are either being idiotic or are being cowed by the threat of punishment from a superior. Either way, they're eunuchs. My purpose in creating the St. Sebastian Series is to put the flesh and face of the true soldier front and center. The good soldier puts his mission ahead of himself. He often ends up dead. The true soldier knows a bad mission when he sees one and he isn't afraid to say it. Saint Sebastian was not a cow, despite what clever people would have you believe. Saint Sebastian is a patron saint for all protestors who face the arrows of the mob for speaking out.
